Our Master of Technological Futures graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to forecast disruption and transform their organisation - and they do this through the lens of technology.
Focusing on operational resilience and tools for societal advancement, this course is designed in consultation with industry experts, futurists, and social enterprise leaders. You’ll become a strategic decision maker and learn to spot trends in tech, becoming an early adopter. We upskill professionals to take full advantage of exciting new tech - or build their own.
If you are a passionate educator who wants to take the lead in creating positive change in your school or learning community, the Masters of Contemporary Education is the programme for you.
The Master of Contemporary Education was designed to support the professional development of educators in rapidly changing teaching and learning environments - in a rapidly changing world. You'll gain tools to critically analyse emerging opportunities, develop strategies to enhance your practice, and create measurable solutions for your education community. This is not a regular Masters programme. It is practice-based and focused on creating impactful change in your school WHILE you study.
This is a three part Master's programme - if you’ve already completed your Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning you’re a third of the way through your Master's! AND since you’ve already paid for Part 1, you’ll only pay for Parts 2 and 3 of the programme.

Our Master of Change and Organisational Resilience graduates are emerging as leaders for good. They have the skills to create stronger, more resilient teams, organisations, and communities - and impact lives for the better.
Focussed on strategising for change, this course is designed in close consultation with leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and industry experts to help you apply future-focused resilience frameworks to real problems in your professional environment. All while considering the impact on people, place and planet. You’ll develop your own leadership style, and align your values with your purpose. Ready to do the best work of your life?

Applications and admissions
Gather all the essential documents required for your application, as outlined in our International Student guide. This guide contains important information about our application and admission process.
You have two options for submitting your application:

2. Download the International Student Application Form and submit it to enrol@academyex.com
If you are applying for the programme with the assistance of an education agency, please complete the Agency Appointment Form and upload it during your online application or send to enrol@academyex.com with your submission.
Learning paths for international students
To enrol in one of the NZQA accredited programmes delivered by academyEX, applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language competence such as IELTS academic band score of 6.5 (overall), with no individual band less than 6.0 or equivalent.
Our Master’s qualifications are regarded as Research Masters when students enrol in the 90 credit Level 9 project course as part of their study.
Master’s programme interview
For admission into our Master’s programmes you will have an interview with one of the programme team. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions and for us to ensure that this master’s programme is the right fit for you. You can discuss your professional experience, the support available from our team and the commitment you can give to achieving your learning goals.
Excel & Impact
International Student Excellence Scholarship 2025
The Scholarship is awarded to those demonstrating academic excellence in previous study and a commitment to excelling in further study to continue their learning and have an impact in their organisation, communities and industries. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to attract new international students of high calibre to enrol in the Master’s degree programmes at academyEX. A scholarship of up to NZ$11,000 towards the tuition fees will be awarded to two international students to study a programme onshore in New Zealand.
