Holding degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience including a PhD from Max-Planck, Sylvia has contributed to the body of scientific literature in fundamental and applied aspects of physical and mental health. She has worked in teaching and research institutes in Europe and New Zealand, exploring important questions around stroke, depression and pain (see here for publications). As an academic supervisor Sylvia, has applied her research skills in diverse projects including health, social science and education.​Sylvia’s passion lies in research that has the power to make a difference in people’s lives. At Tech Futures Lab, Sylvia advises current Master’s candidates, ensuring a strong evidence base is part of every project plan.
