Mo is not afraid of change; over the last 20 years she has gone from a Primary School teacher, to a stay-at-home Mum & blogger, to entrepreneurship. Starting her own business as a size-inclusive stylist almost 10 years ago, Mo has been a regular fashion columnist for Stuff, and led online fashion communities for size-inclusive style. 

Becoming a community builder for female entrepreneur network ‘She Owns It’ gave her a deep understanding of building online communities and led to her working for Meta (then Facebook) for three years as a Facebook Community Trainer. This saw her travelling across NZ and Australia teaching digital skills to over 1500 small and medium sized business owners. 

She is REALLY enthusiastic. About everything (especially shoes). Theatre kid enthusiastic -  so if you want someone to be your cheerleader (and probably sing about your accomplishments), she’s your girl. Mo is a DIY aficionado and if you want it decorated, transformed or zhuzhed she’s right behind you, hammer and glitter in hand. 

Mo believes that technology can and should be used to build connection and understanding in our communities and that these connections will create solutions for our ever-changing world. 

Mo never met a sequin she didn’t like and will probably wear them while she’s telling your story on Instagram.
