Jarin manages to supply both a productive work environment and a source of distraction all at once. A sharp witted persona lives behind the everyday IT management of The Mind Lab and Tech Futures Lab and Jarin never fails to surprise us all with his quick comebacks and oddly dark humour.

Typical of many ‘back office’ support team members, Jarin is humble about his achievements. Much like the unpaid labour portion of society, IT remains invisible until something goes horribly wrong. Luckily, Jarin remains elusive, which is to say, our IT experience is smooth and well managed.

Perhaps the admission that he’d love the opportunity to meet a T-Rex demonstrates his quirky character but also shows he is not scared of big menacing situations that might feel like the end of the world (or at least all your hard work). He’ll calmly sort the situation out after asking you to first turn it off and on again.
