Kriv Naicker

Kriv Naicker is Founder and Managing Director of Synaptec – an innovation and strategy advisory organisation that focuses on the impact of Disruptive Technology, the Internet of Things, Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing, 5G, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality, Drones/ UAVs.

Kriv was also instrumental in the formation of the NZ IoT (Internet of Things) Alliance and served as the Alliance’s first Executive Director and is currently Board Chair.

Kriv was previously Regional General Manager – Strategy and Business Consulting at Huawei Technologies where he led strategic change and transformation across the South Pacific; Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Incredible Skies (a commercial UAV/ Drone innovation startup); and Principal Consultant at Ovum Consulting (UK) where he led telco strategy and due diligence advisory across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Yun Sing Koh

Dr Yun Sing Koh is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her primary research area is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Yun Sing is passionate about utilising machine learning for social good, and her research has been applied to interdisciplinary applications in environmental and health domains. She leads the Advanced Machine Learning and Data Analytics Research (MARS) Lab and serves as the Director of the Centre for Machine Learning for Social Good at the University of Auckland.

As the Director of Business Development at CoGo, Josh provides sustainability solutions that help financial institutions throughout Asia and the Pacific to help their business and retail customers understand, measure, and reduce their impact on people and the planet. With over 15 years of experience in business development, marketing, and partnerships, he has a proven track record of building strong relationships, delivering innovative solutions, and driving revenue growth across various industries and markets. His mission is to connect ethical and sustainable businesses to like-minded consumers and empower them to make positive choices for the environment and society. He leverages his expertise to grow Cogo's presence and influence in the region, and to provide insights and best practices to their clients and partners. He is passionate about creating positive change and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within Cogo and the wider community.

Tracy McCartney

Tracy is a Senior leader, currently working as Group Planning Manager at Ryman Healthcare looking after a Portfolio of 30 Development, Design and Construction projects across Australia and New Zealand with a team of Planners. She is also a member of two Steering Groups; the introduction of a Digital Twin and the measurement of Embodied Carbon in Construction. In December 2022, Tracy embarked on her Masters of Technological Futures journey with academyEX. Her topic is 'Measurement of Embodied Carbon using Emerging Disruptive Technology'. She has a strong interest in using #sustainability and reducing embodied carbon, waste and emissions in the construction industry. I am also a great advocate for digital innovation to help organisations meet their goals and reduce their carbon footprint. I am also developing an #AI tool to automatically carry out project planning based on info generated in Facilitated Workshops.
