As Chief Technology Officer, Andrew’s favourite part of his role is supporting and empowering cross-functional teams. His key focus is people, and nurturing them to be the best they can be.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Teesside with Honours, Andrew is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing our technical strategy and direction.

Andrew’s leadership delivers outcomes that will benefit not only academyEX, but the team members themselves. While technology will always be a leading enabler of positive change, Andrew believes that people will always be the driving force.

He has a passion for literature, art and film, and encyclopaedic knowledge of cinema (seriously, you can ask him anything), including some behind the scenes contributions to scripts that became a couple of major Hollywood blockbusters.

Thinking to the future, Andrew’s focus is providing partners with cybersecurity solutions and training staff to ensure it becomes part of the team culture.
