Overview
Our graduation ceremonies are designed to be a celebration of you, and we welcome friends & whānau to be part of the day. We recognise and acknowledge the diversity of our graduates and seeing the ways different cultures celebrate achievements is one of the highlights of our graduation ceremonies.
We've made sure the formalities are concise, yet appropriately weighted for your achievement, and have included plenty of time to get together with your cohort, friends and whānau and take photos afterwards.

Regalia
Graduation is a formal celebration, you're required to wear the correct academic regalia for your qualification, and you can hire your regalia from Academic Dress Hire.
Feel free to also wear traditional wear in honour of your culture or home country, such as a korowai, traditional flower garland or sari.
Guests
Each graduating student will be able to bring up to 2 guests to the ceremony to celebrate with them. Please indicate how many people you are bringing when you apply to graduate, and if this number changes please get in touch. While we'd love to have everybody join us on the day, seating at the venue is limited so we ask that you please only bring your allocated guests with you, so that it is fair for all graduates and their whanau.
If you’d like to request to bring more guests, please contact registrar@academyex.com and we will let you know if more places become available once applications to graduate close.
