Ben has been doing service and co-design in govt for 10 years (and counting) in what he hopes is for the ‘greater good’. He is proud to be part of the awesome Emerging Tech & Innovation team at Te Whatu Ora.
Ben's work includes building the framework for point of care testing devices (currently a high-sensitivity troponin test), abortion reform, COVID care in the community, and consent/social licence.
Ben is from Tamaki Makaurau by way of Ōtautahi, but turangawaewae to Te Whanganui a Tara. He is a proud father, traveller and long-suffering supporter of the ‘Nix and Southampton. He takes his mahi seriously, but trys not to take himself too seriously.
