He is an independent Director and Advisor following more than 30 years with IBM where he was the Managing Director of the New Zealand entity, a position he held from May 2013 to November 2016, where he worked with clients across a wide range of industries (including Financial Services, Government, Telecommunications, Utilities, Retail and Distribution). During this time Rob also served on the Boards of NZTech and AmCham NZ.
Before leading IBM NZ, the majority of Rob's IBM career has been in the Financial Services Sector where he held a variety of professional, management and executive positions across Australia and NZ. Key executive roles include the Managing Director of IBM's Westpac Integrated Account, a position he held for five years from when it was established in April 2008, and the Director of Financial Services Sector across Australia and NZ for IBM Global Technology Services.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Canterbury University in Christchurch, NZ.
