Claire’s role is vital, as she ensures academyEX students are receiving a high quality teaching and learning experience. As Programme Coordinator, Claire’s daily tasks include day to day administration, student support, coordination of the running of workshops and online sessions.

It’s a busy job, but with a Master of Administration & Management specialised in Arts, Bachelor of Communication and two-year Diploma of Social Work specialised in Community Work, Claire is an administration whizz.

Although it’s clear that Claire has many talents up her sleeve, her secret super power is getting people to share their deepest secrets. In Claire’s spare time, she’s in a samba band, and performs all over Auckland.

The best part about Claire’s new role is engaging with students to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed, and to support them in their journey. Looking to the future, she wants to see more programmes focused on social-emotional learning and student wellbeing.
